Smart Coast Project Evaluations
Belize, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras
World Wildlife Fund
Our team evaluated the Smart Coast Project of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef ecoregion across Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico. We worked closely with WWF teams from Germany, Mesoamerica, and Mexico, as well as local communities, subcontractors, and governments.

We assessed the project's progress and performance in relevance, coherence, efficiency, effectiveness, impact, sustainability, and adaptive capacity. To do this, we used five key tools: digital surveys, document reviews, individual interviews, focus groups, and field visits. These tools helped us gather insights from various stakeholders involved in the project.

Our work included tracking all the project's indicators and measuring results using quantitative and qualitative measurements. We presented a final report detailing each evaluation criterion, providing analyses, justifications, scores, and recommendations for improving the management and operation of future projects.
