Smart Coast Project Evaluations

At Earth Empower Consulting, we create meaningful change through strategic partnerships. We extensively evaluated the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef ecoregion across Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico. This evaluation was a collaborative effort with WWF teams in Germany, Mesoamerica, Mexico, subcontractors, communities, and governments, ensuring that all stakeholders were part of the process and that their perspectives were considered in assessing the project's progress and performance.

 

Guided by the WWF evaluation criteria, we focused on ensuring the projects' relevance, coherence, efficiency, effectiveness, impact, sustainability, and adaptive capacity. Our evaluation utilized various tools—including digital surveys, document reviews, individual interviews, focus groups, and field visits—to capture diverse perspectives from all stakeholders involved.​

 

By meticulously tracking project indicators and conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses, we developed a final report highlighting each criterion, presenting detailed results, and offering actionable recommendations for enhancing the management and impact of future initiatives. Our commitment to inclusivity ensures that all voices are heard and valued in the evaluation process.
